Bill Watkins, Ph.D.

Prior to joining the CLU community in 2009, Watkins served as the Executive Director of the Economic Forecast Project at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also served as the economist in the Monetary Affairs Division of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C. Watkins is widely published in academic journals, traditional media and new media.
Jared Barton, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Economics
California State University Channel Islands
Barton earned a PhD in economics from George Mason University, an M.A in economics from Miami University and a B.A in economics from Denison University. Barton is an experimental political economist and is dedicated to working on topics related to voting, political and non-political persuasion, and public goods provision.
