The Discovery Center for Science and Technology is 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) hand-ons educational programs to students and families throughout Ventura and Los Angeles counties. We are a ''Museum without Walls'' which provides seven core programs to over 10,000 individuals annually. Our programs include Reading Awakens Young Scientists (RAYS), Art Makes U Smart (AMUS), Family Science Night, a portable planetarium, DCTeens, GoGirls STEAM Camp and Science Speaker Series.
Our mission is to encourage curiosity, critical thinking and creativity through the exploration of STEAM. Since 1994 we have served over 1/4 of a million people.
Our vision is to ignite, inspire and empower people of all ages to think about and enjoy STEAM. -
