  • About

Celebrating thirty years of providing support, education and hope to people fighting cancer, Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara, formerly The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, is an independently governed and funded non-profit and an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community. We serve more than 3,000 adults, children and teens affected by cancer each year with programs throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, and West San Fernando Valley. All programs are provided free of charge.

Our mission is to ensure that adults, children and teens impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and supported by community.

We are dedicated to helping local residents with cancer and their loved ones enhance their health and well-being through professionally facilitated support groups, educational workshops, nutrition and exercise programs, and mind/body connection classes. In our Community, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope, regardless of the stage of their disease.

Whether you are interested in using our programs, becoming a volunteer, or partnering with us as an event sponsor, we invite you to tour our main facility in Westlake Village to learn more about this special place in our community where people learn they are not alone in their fight against cancer. Please call us at (805) 379-4777 to arrange a tour.
